Thread: List of cars owned below avatar?

This has been brought up a couple times, so here's the thread for that discussion.

I like the general idea, but I do not want even more stuff taking up space below the avatars. I might try to push for the "likes" stuff to move elsewhere or somehow consolidate things, because IMO it is getting WAY too tall as it is.

In my opinion the signature is really the perfect place for this type of information. What's wrong with listing the cars you own in the signature? You have TONS of room there, and lots of leeway to format it and link however you want.

That's my main issue with this. The height it would add to an already bloated section. Keep in mind the taller that section is, the longer we all have to scroll when going through a thread. As it is right now, if you post one line of text there is TONS of wasted vertical space because of how tall the left pane is now. I wonder how things would be if we brought the font size down some...

Im part of other forums that list vehicles underneath, all you do is make it small, and a limited amount of typing to put the cars you want, not all of them. And things dont get crowded, trust me its been done, and it looks decent on other sits. Be nice to have room in our sigs for qutoes, or links, and not just car info. Not what a signature is.

Dan, both of those are awful. I'm sorry. Ratsun is using acres and acres of vertical real estate (AND OMG THANK GOD WE DON'T ALLOW SIG PICS!).
Notice how if they put your username in the same column it would be that much worse.

And your example for our forum does exactly what I knew it would. Make things another 20-30 pixels taller than they are now.
Your signature doesn't help. It is WELL above the forum limits as is. I know you've been told to make it smaller. You might need to do more. You're allowed 4 lines. You have ~11!

Definitely looks cluttered. On the ratsun forum, from the pic I can't even tell what was the post and what is the sig just a jumbled mess
