First pics in classified threads
Is it just me or is the first pic in the for sale threads not showing up consistently?

Its not every thread but pics show up broken in the first pic slot a lot.

The reason is because folks are having trouble reading the statement (ENTER URL ONLY, DON'T USE IMG TAGS). They still want to use the img tags and the url doesn't get translated to an image.

Well a couple of my threads recently did the same thing, I know for sure I used the direct image URL's and just the address showed. I think my N1 cams ad did this.

A link to an example with no embedded image and no IMG tags messing things up would help a lot if anyone has one.
Edit: Cliff beat me to it.

When I go under the advanced edit option, the direct link is there??? Maybe there's a setting preventing it from loading on my end if you guys see it fine?

I am seeing them fine. It may be an issue with photobucket URLs. It might be something else. We will figure it out.
What OS and Browser version are you guys using?

Why do we need to put the url in anyway, when we put the IMG in the description anyway?? seems redundant.
Also...whats with the "where is the item located?" I always put "in storage" or on my car????
Is that really necessary.

I am not complaining, but I dont see what was wrong with the last format.
All these changes are hard to keep track of...and I am on here daily.

Work: Office XP and IE8

Home: Vista Home and IE7? (can't verify)

I agree that it seems redundant but I understand the "follow the rules" aspect of it. Not to let the thread pass post status until all fields are met.
