Thread: Before anyone goes crazy: Hyperlinks

Looks good to me. The unread threads stick out from the read ones nicely.

Cliff can you make the username not be as dark? Look at read threads, it just distracts from the thread title. I'm almost wanting to say we don't even need OP's usernames, but that's another discussion.

I need to know OP's username before opening... That way I can know if I should not open, flame right away, or sarcastically flame.

FML. I will NOT remove OP names, that doesn't make any sense.

Looks good now, thread titles stand out from usernames.

What do you think about graying out the section descriptions too?

Non SR related vehicle discussion. This section is not O/T. O/T rambling will be deleted from threads.

In the view where thread titles and usernames are listed, the thread titles are now black, and the usernames are now a darkish grey. This should make everything quite readable.

(I'd like to see all of the forum text except links move to the dark grey to match, with all the links black. But who knows if that will happen or go over well.)

Edit: Vadim beat me to it. Hey Vadim, what about giving Cliff a rest? (Your suggestion and mine are basically the same thing, except mine does it everywhere. We might even be able to go without the dark blue links in thread bodies this way too... Maybe...)

I like the things you've been doing, but I find the bold black font for new links a bit overdone...

Nathan, with the link underlines gone, how would you differential a thread title from the username under it making the thread titles more readable? And how would you differentiate between a "read" thread and an "unread" thread?

The underlines for links are back for now. We'll see how things shape up in the near future.
