Had an AH HA moment. It should be working for everyone, now.

In your CP, under "Edit Options" the mod to enable/disable is at the very bottom (underneath the message editor interface options). Select "No" to disable this hack (hide it), and Yes to enable it (view like box and like posts).

Well until I can figure out why the template modification breaks being able to disable/enable the hack, I've removed it. There's something funky with the conditional rewrite, so I'll need to do some digging when I have more time.

For now, it should be available to everyone, and there is no longer the option in your profile to enable/disable the hack. You may need to log out and clear your internet options and check back to see if you get starry goodness.

Strange, created an account right quick and I don't see the option either.

I do not understand how the "Likes" are determined by the "Posts" and "Times"?!? It seem completely random.

I'll use some statistics from the respondents to this thread to illustrate.


Should have the most Likes by far. Yet Stratton has more Likes, with less Posts Liked less times.

Further Cliff appears to actually need more Likes, if you compare his numbers to Viprdude or Vadim.


They're kind of even.


Compared to Viprdude, Vadim seems about right.


Vadim has twice as many posts liked twice as many times, yet only has one (1) more Like than Pedro.


Vadim has more posts, liked more times. Yet Stratton has 117 Likes, and Vadim has 24. Stratton also has almost twice as many Likes as Cliff, who has a proverbial shit-load more Posts Liked more times.

Seems similar to Cliffs numbers, sort of. But not really.

How the hell are these Likes being calculated? Stevie Wonder throwing darts at a chart? Completely at random?

Ok I think I got it.

Likes: 25 - How many posts I like
19 Posts liked 20 times - 19 of my posts where liked 20 times, so I had one post liked twice

The last one needs serious rewording though.

I came in here to post how it works, but Vadim already has it right. First number is how many "Likes" you've handed out. The other two are how many posts you've had liked, and how many times they've been liked.

As you can see by my stats, I like the like button.
