Keo, try this to disable Thanks notifications.

User CP -> Edit Options -> Notification for new "Thanks" on your posts? -> uncheck Receive notifications

Notifications were quite a cute little annoyance, fellas.

The end state is to get it so that the thanks postbit is actually in your post "window", and not below it.

Is it possible that the changes being undertaken, in regards to the "thanks stuff", have affected other "Dash" settings? I noticed that before when I used to log in the "Remember Me" box was never checked. I like it this way as I prefer that no web-sites remember me. Now I notice that it is always checked to remember me. When I uncheck it and then refresh the page the check-mark has reappeared.

I suppose it is possible that it has something to do with my browser but I don't believe I have changed any settings.
