Thread: Asking for your assistance with spammers...

Folks, if you see spam, PLEASE report it. I just banned around 20 users from the site for linking to goods/services that have nothing to do with the community. They all had join dates within the last 30 days. I'm afraid to go back even further

If I see it I normally I report it. I have noticed this trend too and it worries me but I will keep my eyes peeled.

Some did make posts, and others did not

There's usually a rash of obvious spam posts every once in a blue moon. Usually I and someone else who's on or awake at the time (they usually happen early in the morning) report them within seconds.

However you have to wait 60 seconds between reporting posts, so sometimes it takes a while. =]

Ben, another option would be to PM one of the moderators directly with a list of spammers
