Now i didnt ""disrespect "" you or anything of that nature.. but your answer better be logical.. because banning people for not posting or banning cause they only tried to get rid of something that someone on here MIGHT be looking for is unjustified in any sense..

The problem with people that just come here to sell is that it's too easy for someone to just run off with your money.

The problem with restricting someone from being able to sell until they post x amount is that you might have less for sale threads.

So the dilemma is, do you want to have less part options or do you want for someone to run off with your money?

you can get jacked anywhere you cant justify banning people that MIGHT or MIGHT NOT rip you off.. that like never getting an ebay account just cause it MIGHT happen..

For the record, since you like to shoot your mouth off without any knowledge of what happened, I never banned anyone. I closed a couple threads in the for sale section that were created by people that created an account, logged in, posted a part for sale, then hadn't been on since. This isn't Craigslist...

They shouldn't be able to do this. Although I don't agree with the post count thing, maybe you could just make it a certain amount of time. I know I've signed up for other forums just to get some information that I needed, and those suby guys are pretty friendly to be honest. Anyways, make them be a member for a month and see how many times they actually log in. If they aren't "One and done," let them sell some chit.

....so thats it people that come on here to sell rare parts wont get a chance or even the people that are out of the game gettin rid of there parts dirt cheap will have to USE sites like craigslist for there sales...

They'll still sell their "rare" parts. They'll just wait a while to do it. What's the big deal?? The mods are trying to protect you...us from scams. I don't understand what's so hard to understand about this??? Maybe it's just me.

Oh and I forgot to mention that the old site has over 42,000 members, we have a little under 4,000. So I'd say we're a little closer knit.
