17x9 wheels? Anyone ever try fitting them?
Has anyone tried this size? I have searched like crazy and couldn't find anything. Also what offset did you go with? Not doing this for stance event though it'll look good. i want just want to see if i can run some 235/245/40 tires on this set up

You do not need 9 inch wide wheels (much less 17" in diameter) to run 235s................

In other words, I doubt anyone here has attempted. One gentleman DOES have 17x7.5 on his B15 Sentra SE-L however, but I have not seen anyone try to fit your sizes without a massive amount of massaging..................

fronts will stick out a little, rears will rub the strut.

The rears will rub and make a "BARK" sound when you hit a bump if you're going fast enough. its a weird ass sound

ran a 235 on the stock spec v rim. had 18x8's on it when I sold it. I was also running tein coilovers.

and with 18x8" you had how much space between wheel and strut? 2-5mm?

iirc it was tight. I did not have a issue with rubbing though.

You ran a spec v wheel? Did you change your bolt pattern to 4x114.3?
what was the offset on the 18x8?

You sure about that? Go find me some sticky street tires that are decently wider than a 205(pathetic grip) that come in a 15 or 16 inch rim

^^^ @duesmandella

Sure

Hankook*Ventus R-S3 225-45-15

They come in 225-45-50 option

Also

Toyo R888 225-50-15

Toyo R888 225-50-15

Anything else??

Nobody sells anything in the 16" range performance worthy. There is a wide range of selection of 15inch sticky tires. All those pesky Hondas run them anywhere from auto-x to HPDE to full blown 275 -??-15 Hoosier A2 compound

I think you need to do some more research
