There are so many options I jus decided to stop by a local oreillys and bought a cap and rotor, and to my surprise they're both made in Japan! But I think I will end up returning those and get oem from Greg v since I also need spark plug wires. Not sure if its my wires, but the previous owner got blue ngk wires and ALL the wires have a burnt mark or is brown at the end of the wires but nothing is ripped and everything still functional.
What prompted me to do this whole thing was that my car suddenly won't start in the cold. It ran perfectly and then one day it wouldn't turn at all. So I thought it was the ignition switch. I waited til the next day when it was warmer and it started and then died right away. So I thought no biggie, I didn't step on the gas to keep it running... When I tried to start it again, it turns, but will not start, so now I'm trouble shooting... I got the sr and its got 250k miles, so I've got lots of work to do, but I'm starting..... Sorry for the novel I jus wrote...
