SR swap from a G20 into a B13?
Hi, new here. I have a '92 Sentra E that's nearing 350,000 miles and looking to do an SR swap into it. Not new to swapping engines in this car, it's on it's second GA16 now after the original spun a bearing back in 2007 at 232k. At that time I bought a '94 GA16 and 5 speed out of a junkyard and swapped them into the car (car was originally the 4 speed manual with no overdrive). This motor is getting tired now, burning oil.
Anyway, I came across a '94 Infinity G20 in the junkyard with only 90,000 miles. I can pick this engine up, complete, for around 150 bucks. I know from searching on here I'll need the B13 SER specific motor mounts, etc. but my main concern is with the A/C. Will my original A/C lines and compressor work with this motor, or can I use the lines off the G20?
I know I will need to get an SR specific trans, etc. as well, but for now my GA16 is still running reliably, so I can take a little time to get all the pieces of the puzzle together.
Here is a pic of the car (hopefully it works).. I already have complete SER charcoal interior swapped in, the SER spoiler, '94 tail lights, and yes, those are Integra LS mesh wheels. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/33744_498331693625_3166998_n.jpg
Thanks.
