Still overcast here, but I used a work-light and my flash. Forgive some spots where you get a bit of glare.

This ought to at least give a good idea of what my Batcave Interior looks like.

I like it waaaaaay better than the OEM light/gray-blue. It ain't even close.

What did you do about the plastic bits on the doors and the dome light?

Agreed, that looks amazing. I wish I'd known to look at it during the convention.

Plastic dye. I have completely forgotten the brand utilized. Rear view mirror is also done, and everything is holding up quite well.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Money is a bit tight right now, so I am considering dying the seats black for now. Reupholster them properly when I can afford it.

I've also got a Chriscar Gauge Cluster (GTiR'ish) to install in the stereo location (move the head-unit down), and some fancy aluminum SE-R window cranks that I am going to get powder coated satin black prior to installation.

I have to redo my headliner and was thinking of doing it black. Then I saw this thread. Now everything is going black.

BTW Shawn, I love your interior it's best one I've seen, it looks as if it came like that from the factory.

Yeah, even the 240sx we just got is all dark headliner, a pillar, etc... just prefer it.. don't understand why more cars don't come this way from the factory..

great pics! great inspiration for a future project... put in black g20t seats from a p10 and it would be a nice continuation of the all-black theme !!

Thanks as well, appreciate the kind words.

To me the interior restoration, the place where I actually do the driving, was as important as restoring any other portion or sub-system on the vehicle. OEM-plus is what I utilized in much of my build (brakes, tranny, wheels, suspension, head-lights, seat-belts, you name it) and I wanted the interior to appear OEM...but better.

BTW, those are Z32 pedals, a Z32 shift-knob, B14 seat-belts, B15 visors, and Maxima grab-handles.

I've got a few more things to address, but so far I am 100% pleased with my interior modifications.

Glad I could assist in your decision making.

A super clean set of G20t seats, on stock-working and height brackets would be perfect. It would also be very cost effective. Especially if I just dyed the rear seat cloth to black.

Otherwise I will be reupholstering the stock seating. Grey/black/charcoal of some sort, cloth, suede, leather, whatever on the front buckets. All (black/charcoal) cloth in the rear. Red stitching to match the Redline shift and e-brake boots. A more expensive option but do-able.

Eventually I will get the entire interior sorted to exactly the way I think is "should have come" from Nissan.

I did my a/b/c pillars with black interior paint followed by matte clearcoat to give a nice satin finish. Looked stock and many people didn't know it came gray till I told them otherwise. I wrapped the headliner with black reptile pattern fabric and the pulls were from a bug. It all flowed well and fell to the background when driving much more than the light/dark gray colors.
