The 1991-1994 Sentra 4 door GA16DE made 110hp and I think 108 ft lbs of torque, had rear drum brakes, no frikking tachometer (even in 5 speed) - and a "mild" suspension to say the least. Also the 91-92 SE-R seats and interior (leather wrapped steering wheel) was 10x better. Not to mention, 140hp and 132 ft-lbs. At the time, the SE-R had everything we needed really, and it was of course, a 2-door.

But if you're talking just about looks and including the possibility of swapping in DE and VE motors into these 4-doors, then the performance gap gets much smaller. I've seen great looking 4-door DE and VE's when done right.

Doesnt matter if its stock or not, as long as its a b13 no matter whats done it doesnt matter. Its all about the looks/performace. Like people were say the frames of 4 doors seem to be more stable and distributed more evenly. I never knew that lol and everyone knows you can make a 4 door into a se-r with a few simple part swaps. hehe more just a preferance thread about what peoples honest opinions are. Anything goes lol

4 doors all day. At least you can have the right to literally say, "built not bought" once converted to an ser. My 4 door has been a slow slow process but it's getting there, within time she'll be a nice looking 4 door ser.

If you want to go fast and handle corners, 4 doors are a waste IMO. I'd rather get a STi if I wanted more doors.

However, when done right I'll agree that sedan B13's look pretty good. Like Re-Spect's car. I love his sedan. I guess it all depends on what direction you want to go in.

sorry man but your are wrong!!! te 4 door have more balanced weith ,for corners circuit and everithing is better but people dont use them because they have on mind 2 door for race 4 door for a family !

4 door B13 does better like i said to the pther guy they have a balanced weith and more stability ! REMEMBER GUYS B13 are 4 door from factory in first place!! JAPAN DONT MAKE 2 doors sentra the american enginers make the 2 door because the market on U.S mexico and south america prefeer 2 doors and for that reason U.S MAKE 2 doors and mexico! NOT JAPAN! so 2 doors looks for me like an invention to make some people happy! but thanwith distribution, hangling and everithi are better on 4 doors there isnt my opinion its a fact! and confirmed fact! look into yours bin number if your 2 door was make in japan ! if your SE-R was make in japan, NO! only a few few! 2 doors like an special edition was make on japan im my life i see only 2!! and in philipinas they have some 2 door make in japan but the are only special editions,

wrong again, the model GXE con US market have tachometer, and full power and some ones soonroof , and its true they come with a GA16DE engine, but where in thw hell you forgot the janapense model that they come with SR18DE with 140hp !? and 4 disk brakes? an ad18 and ad22 brakes?
by the way the Attesa model AWD with HLSD FRON AND VLSD REAR?? that monster dont come to U.S MARKET and its a 1000 better than the 2 door model!! i said this before but i think people here dont read very good, in the U.S we meed to do swap on 4 doors but that dont means they are more weak that 2 doors, only WE DONT HAVE THAT MODELS HERE!! so.... think again and what its better ? 2 door or 4 door? jejej

If not for the 2-door 1991-94 SE-R, there would be almost no enthusiast community to populate this forum. The community of folks falling in love with, and modifying the shit out of, our vehicles would be drastically smaller. So small as to be utterly inconsequential and insignificant.

The reason you can even build a "4-door SE-R" with community support is because there initially was a 2-door SE-R put out by Nissan in 1991-1994.

The 2-door wins.
