i finally was able to work on my car. this is what i did and where i stand. i disconnected the wires from the spark plugs and removed the spark plugs as well. i found no water on the spark plugs. maybe just barely a visible drop on one of them but it was very unnoticeable. i tried to crank it as instructed but nothing. it does nothing different than what i had mentioned already, all i get is a short crank out of it. not even a full crank, just a short millisecond crank. so in desperation and frustration, i went ahead and took off the throttle body. i removed a fuel line that was attached to it, i hope i didnt mess up anything or havent messed up anything more for that matter. i found there was still a bit of water left inside the manifold. so i went ahead and dried that up with a rag. after i dried it, i could see a thin layer of mud risidu left in there that i could not get to. ill have to figure a way to clean that up. i shook the throttle body and a bit of water sprinkled out of it. also, i removed the valve cover to see if there was any water in there and nothing, i saw no signs of water in there. also, i checked the oil deep stick and i didnt see any discoloration or signs of water in there. i dont know why. i had to leave everything disassembled because i ran out of time and i couldnt get back to it again. and i wont be able to get back to it again until this next wednesday or so. i dont want to replace the engine because one, i dont have money to do so, and second, it is a jdm engine with low milage and i know its still strong (without counting the fact that i drowned it). so i wont give up on it. ill get as far inside that engine as possible to revive it, i just need some detail instructions on how to do so. im pissed at myself and sad at the same time. this was going to be my project car. now it's just sitting there... any help given is very well appreciated. thanks everyone.
