Help: broken pressure plate bolt
Fellas, today I mistakenly broke a pressure plate bolt deep inside my newly machined flywheel. The clutch kit is a stage II compotion clutch pressure plate and disk. Has less than 500 miles. Ive done a bit of research and have come up with mixed reviews on whether or not it will be safe. I plan on running a t25 on stock ve with a killer tune. I have all the parts and now just waiting on my motor mounts. Chime in and let me know if you think it will be safe or not.

drill that shit out and put a heli-coil in it if you ruin the threads, if you aren't sure if you can do it yourself safely just have whoever machined your flywheel do it, should be cheap.

i can also sell you a good stock flywheel if that's a better alternative for you, it'll be $50 shipped to fl and i will get it machined before i send it.

Both of those options are good. Do it right the first time especially when it comes to clutch and flywheels

I would not recommend going without all of the pressure plate bolts.

Update: I got that bitch out. Took a lil muscle and concentration but got it out with threads in tact. On top of that I had an extra bolt to replace it. Apparently those same bolts are used on the support braces that come connected to the ve intake mani and block. Gonna quit while im ahead.
