B13 se-r grounding points?
Hey everyone. I'm just cleaning up the wiring job that the previous owner of my car left me with. my search brought little help so now I turn to you guys. where are all the chassis and engine grounds located in a b13? I found one on the intake manifold like most cars have and a few other grounding spots but does anyone know where all of the best spots are? would it be beneficial to add a few more grounds of my own possibly? it seems that chassis grounds are very important with older (and possibly newer) nissans because most of the electronics are grounded through the bolts going into the chassis.

any help is greatly appreciated as I am still somewhat new to nissan.
thank you!!

thank you guys so much!!! I wonder if this might fix the funny tach issues. I have seen some weird things caused by bad grounds and electrical connections.

I wonder if copper spray-a-gasket will promote conductivity and maybe stop any rust from getting to the open metal? has anyone tried it?

Don't forget there is supposed to be a ground strap from the exhaust by the catalytic converter to the chassis using one of the exhaust hanger bolts I believe. If you want to be super anal about it.

I was having serious grounding issues, to the point where my car wouldn't start and my engine temp gauges were all screwy (engine to chassis ground were bad) and my car would stall and idle all weird (MAF ground was bad). I used 8 gauge wire and put in as many grounding points as I could and cleaned the stock ones as best I could. I just cleaned to bare metal to get good contact, and once the ground was firmly in place, I put dielectric grease all over the ground to protect it. Don't forget to try regrounding your MAF, although I'd recommend doing it to the intake manifold:
