Car doesn't give energy. help?
So I was in santa barabara and my car almost turned on but didn't after that it didn't give any power what so ever
happen to me again the same night the emergency lights wouldn't even turn on

3 points.

1. Welcome to the forum. It's a great place with great people and lots and lots of info for your car.
2. It's normal for it to take longer than 5 minutes for someone to reply. I would normally wait 2-3 days before bumping it.
3. On to your actual problem, I would check your battery terminal rings. My car would do this from time to time, and I discovered the cause was that the rings were actually worn out and split, so that they weren't ever as tight as I thought they were. I ended up buying some crappy ones from Autozone, mangling the originals to fit, and then putting those on the battery, which looked hideous but did the job without a hitch. What kind year/model do you have? Have you ever had any other electrical/starting issues?

He was saying your car is being selfish for not giving you any energy, not that you were being selfish. Glad you got it fixed.
