I'd imagine if they say it is, then it probably is. Worst case scenario you have to send it back to them for an exchange.

well the thing is that im going to be using one from the junk yard since they don't want that much for it (i forget the price the guy wanted)

so far i have only been able to find b13's with the 1.6 liter not one se-r ....

how about if i wanted to run around with out that hard line how would i go about this?..what would i need to plug up or loop up etc. (just for the mean time while i gather a few more bucks to get the correct one)

are you speaking of the hard line that starts up at the passenger fender, connects to the sofft rubber line, then goes down to the rack? if so, no, it is not interchangeable. mine broke on my last se-r and i had to fix it useing brake line compression fittings.

i searched for so long trying to find a new one....every parts store replacement had the wrong fittings/ends on it. i also noticed the 1.6 lines had some sort of sensor or something connected to the end near the strut tower.

i had discusesd with my teacher an idea i had.

on our cars the power steering system starts at the pump via the soft line.......this loops up and is bolted to the strut tower, then the hard line connects to that and runs along the fire wall to the rack.

my idea was to use stainless braided line and AN fittings and simply go from the pump directly to the rack.......get rid of all that un needed crap.

how would or can i go about looping the lines then for the time being? until i can get the correct line?
