^^^ Yep. All cars of that era by law had to have either automatic seatbelts or airbags. Most cars (like the S13) had the stupid mouse belts and no airbag, whereas the NX had normal belts and an airbag. Nissan avoided the stupid automatic belts on the B13 by attaching them to the door and saying they were "automatic" because they were designed to always be in place. That's why, if it is still there, the lettering on the seatbelt release says "emergency release".
