I know mine shows 8K at 7.5K rev limit, so yes my tach is not accurate in high rpm range(verified by my consult rpm signals).

Lynch, would you be able to post the less timing bin for N60?

Thanks.

Lynch, any idea where the timing was removed from, I am trying to dial in my cam switchover point (4600rpm currently). Also do you thing this is a better bin than the alfredtest3?

Thanks.

i thought you ran this file before?? or was it for the de maf?

the timing was removed from the mid section, for some reason the mid section had ALOT of timing an was causing my car to ping in those areas..

just open both bins up an compare the maps to see where i took out timing.

Yes I ran it on the DE maf. I will try to compare the two.

Thanks.

I found few issues using Alfred less timing bin on my new N60 setup:

After installing the N60 Maf, and updating the bin on my VE (stock cams) to Alfred less timing bin for N60, I have noticed that the WOT timing is between 37-39 deg although the map indicates the timing to be ~32 deg at the same load and RPM (the same bin on DE Maf was in 30-31 range at same RPM and WOT).
When I went over to the new MAF I also noticed that the temperature gauge on the gauge cluster is fluctuating between min temperature and half-way mark (although the coolant temp is ~180F).
Can this affect the timing at all (as there is a timing compensation for low temperature build into the bin, adding 7 deg if coolant is at 30 deg C (which would take 32 deg timing and result in 39 deg timing).
The car is running pretty well and doesn’t seem to be knocking at all with 94 octane fuel, but I think it would run better at lower timing.
I have no wideband so I can’t check the AFR, as I suspect would be a little lean (plugs look good though).

Let me know your suggestions.

Thank you.

By the way I checked the N60 MAF and it's reading 1.05V at idle. My DE MAF would read 1.45V at idle.
Another thing that I have noticed is the gas mileage is much lower with N60 maf (highway) by 15-20% compared to the same bin with DE Maf.
