Does that work backwards also like using a b14 map for a b13?

If a chip was damaged by esd would it erase, program and verify correctly but not work in the car correctly? I was wearing my esd strap.

Ok.. I'm in the car warming it up now. I have pretty good AFR for warm up I suppose (high 13s) my problem was the tuner I'm using (pocket programmer 3 usb) is picky about how it wants these specific chips burned. So here's the instructions I found on Hondatas website that are so far working great.
Check the chip type is set to 27SF512
Parallel port (non-USB) Pocket Programmer only:
Click on ‘Vpp 12V’Press ‘T’Click on ‘Port Delay’ and enter 120Click on ‘Quit Test’ Use ‘Erase device’. This must be done every time the
27SF512 is programmed.

Usb version I did this:
Click on ‘Buffer Start’ and enter 8000
Use ‘Load Buffer’ to load the ROM image.
Click on ‘Buffer Start’ and enter 0
Use ‘Program Device’ to program the EEPROM.
Use ‘Verify Device’ to verify the EEPROM.

Wow its like a completely different car. My AFRs are perfect so far everywhere at all throttle positions. I do get a bit of a stumble leaving from a dead stop, but it was running lean for a few weeks and then I had to drive home 50 miles in limp mode so these plugs might be toast and I guess I should re check my static timing also. But overall this Alfred bin is working great and now I'm comfortable with how to burn chips with my specific programmer. Thanks for all your help guys.

Men i'm trying to copy and paste but for some reason, when I open the b14 bin it wont give me the paste option.

But get this I just received my moates burner and started messing with it. Well I went grab the chips my car it's been running for the past two years and found out all this time the tune was for a E60 MAF, and Im running a VE maf...yeah. So I went change the vq map to the VE vq, thanks to Vadim's spreadsheet, and now the car feels way smoother. It also probably explains why the car only dynoed 181whp with n1 cams I/H/E and pulleys.

Yea that does sound kinda low. Easiest 20hp you'll ever get lol.
