its hard to get accurate mpg with a ve / det car.. i mean really with the ve you wanna pop that vvl as much as possible, an with a turbo you wanna hear that BOV.. soo tempting not to get on it with one of these cars lol..

afr's are a bitch to tune perfectly, takes many many "test runs" and it eats gas big time lol.. plus not every runs the same so changing that 1-2 cells sometimes doesnt work like you want.. so as long as im in the 12.8-13.1 range im happy an so is the car..

also since i've been workin on my timing map lately i''ve been able to get a little better response down low an it picks up speed quicker.. i think the timing was juuusst high enough to lose power but low enough to not knock..

tried the alfred bins..
Hey there, I tried the alfred bin and the modified timing bin that you tweeked Lynch, and for some reason I get ridiculous 16-17 afr at 3/4 throttle (load) so I'm wondering what's up...thoughts?

Regardless, Lynch, I ran your bin, and so far its what I like the most of the few that I've tested, thanks!

mods:
VE 333cc Fuel Injectors
- SR20DE MAF
- New N1 Cams
- Calum Realtime ECU
- K&N filter with blox velocity stack
- ASP 4-1 (not budget)
- FULL 3" exhaust

Thanks in advance man! Danny

the alfred bin is for stock cams lol thats why it went so lean im sure..

my bin is for n1's and i have a similar setup minus the header an slightly bigger exhaust.. so thats prolly why it worked well for ya.. i'd like to see some dyno numbers.. i need to get some for mine but i been broke so its been on hold.

I am pretty sure N1's need a little more fuel, hence super lean condition...

I am glad you figured it out early without blowing out the motor.

Hey lynch, do you have any cold start issues with your bin?

well i have cold start issues.. but its hard to tell if they're from the tune or from the engine itself.. like the iacv an stuff.. ve's seem to be temperamental when it comes to cold starting.. some people have good luck an have no issues an others are plagued with poor starts.. i've been havin IACV issues from day one.. an people get mixed results from running de TB's, when i used my ve one it idled super high all the time.. so i swapped to the de tb

the lynch bin was created from a stock de bin that i set for 333 injectors and then did the timing an fuel maps myself.. so there "shouldn't" be to many problems but since i dont have other cars to test it on i cant be sure..
