Why did you guys feel you needed a transmission oil cooler? Were you having issues with it overheating? I wonder what the protocol is on that and when you need to cool the tranny fluid down. Are you measuring tranny fluid temps?

We beat the car up on track at 30 minutes at a time several times per day...we put the cooler in as insurance. On a dedicated track car, you can't really have too much cooling

I agree there, I just didn't know if you guys were monitoring temps or noticed something that made you install it.

How much time did you spend on the dyno and how many pulls did it take to get the tune dialed in?

it didn't take too much time...although we didn't do a full tune on it...only full throttle and 100 octane using 18psi on wastegate. I'd say probably less than 10 pulls on that tune.

The new tune with the bigger injectors and turbo will be tuned for partial throttle as well, will be on 100oct plus water/meth injection, and using the Turbosmart Eboost Street dual stage boost controller with a scramble button on the steering wheel (adding about 3-5psi of boost at the trigger)

Looks like you are running no heat escape vents on the hood. I am going to assume you have no heat related issues, especially with the top mount out over in the Californian dessert??

Also, are you also upping the wheel diameter once you move to 275 width tires?? It seems the 4-500whp time attack FWD guys are all running a minumum of 17" rolling diameter to help with gearing and traction for the low speed stuff
