Project SHART Gets Tuned!
Hey Guys,

Just thought i'd share the latest video of Project SHART - 1991 Sentra SE-R powered by a GTi-R SR20DET.

AEM EMS-4 Standalone
MSD 520 Injectors
Synergy 20G Turbo
100 Octane

We have since upgraded the setup again so the injectors and turbocharger from this tune are now for sale!

351whp/316tq on this setup!

Enjoy the video

Just uploaded video footage from the last race!

Stay tuned...being installed now are 1000cc injectors with Garrett GTX3067R Turbocharger...any guesses on the power levels we will be at???

Is that an ebay turbo??

Either way great results! That thing sounds hard as all hell!! You should give more info on your setup as that Tial BOV is quite nice

Were you seeing 100% or close to on the duty cycle of the injectors??

Synergy is no longer in business, but yes, i would compare it to a "High Level" ebay turbo

Dont recall the duty cycle at tuning...we were just running straight wastegate pressure at 17psi. it was just a quick tune to get me back out on track, and we knew the GTX3067R was coming soon! The Synergy turbo was brand new and literally has less than 100 miles on it...but ran damn strong...we were all pleasantly surprised with its performance. My best guess is that the current setup would have easily hit 400whp with more boost and water/meth injection.

Now I know what the sound reminds me of! An EL header Scooby turbo

At the last event, we had some clutch issues (rear main seal leaked oil into the clutch causing slippage) so we weren't able to put all the power to the ground...but we will be upgrading the wheels and tires next. Will most likely go with a 255 or 275 up front and a 245 or 255 in the rear...we have power goals with the new setup in the 450-500whp range, so this will definately be something we will be paying attention to!

We also use R888's on the car...so the stickier tires make a big difference as well with regards to grip!

wow! 255/275 in the front? How are you guys fitting that for full steer turns?

lower offset wheels...we will go wider...there is plenty of room within the front fenders and bumper...on the rear we will most likely flare the fenders to fit. But first things first...finish the motor build for reliable power...then move on to the other stuff! Its been a challenge every step of the way...i don't see it being any different from this point forward!
