Aero question
I have an aerodynamics question towards my P10 circuit car build. I am mounting the radiator in the rear of the vehicle due to space restrictions in the engine bay and for better weight distribution. I intend to draw air in by fabricated scoops in the rear door skins, through ducts to the radiator, but im unsure where the best place would be to duct the hot air back out.
My initial idea was to open up the area in the boot lid between the lights. But i was also wondering about ducting it out under the car.I am going to fabricate an under body tray and a defuser at the rear underside to tidy up the airflow under the car, and was wondering if ducting it out under here may encourage a scavenging effect to help draw air through, reducing the size of the ducts i will need in the doors. Thoughts or pictures anyone has seen of a good rear mount setup?
I have looked at the pictures of the Team Orange drift Subaru's setups, and they duct out through the rear of the boot but i doubt they are looking for a top speed setup.
