Thread: IT class at Mid Ohio 09JUN12

Got to talk to this guy for a little bit. He was racing in on of the IT classes with this, pretty quick car out on the track compared to the rest of the cars in his class. Had most of the mods that he was aloud to have besides a tuned ECU. Hotshot gen 4 headers, custom intake, custom exhaust, Koni shocks w/ some springs and some safety stuff.

Pretty neat though, it was $250 entry fee for the weekend. They did two sets of 10 lap qualifying and two 20 lap races.

This was at the EMCO Gears Classic.

The IT/SM shootout was a good race on sat. I wish I could have gone back on sunday.

Very cool, I never hear about these events and would love just to go watch a few even though I don't do it anymore.

Most club races aren't published. GrandAm has been doing some club races as support for their pro weekends with pretty good sucess for a couple of years now.
