I have have ebay seats for a little over a year now, and they are decently comfy. They are deff more comfy then my stock b14 seats. They are holding up good, no tears or warn out looking fabric. They hold me in place decently well.

The only thing that i dont like so much about them is that they sit very low, and i have to sit in the position closest to the steering wheel (seat all the way foward). Those two problems could easily be fixed when making a bracket.

Id say recaro speeds thats if you still want it to be reclinable, if you want a fixed bucket seat recaro pole position and profi's are comfortable. status seats are also comfortable I took a ride in my friends gc8 for 3 hours and we were very comfortable in them.

Don't use a 4 point.

As for seats, fixed back, driver side halo if you plan on tracking it a lot. MOMO has some good deals on seats, who do you plan on running with? Like mentioned you can't go wrong with Recaro either.

You want a harness that's SFI approved if you're going to track the car, but keep the stock belts in place for street driving. Seats don't have to be FIA or SFI, but ensure they're fixed back w/ SFI rated sliders, have back braces to the rollbar, and are not built as cloth/padding over a tube frame. You want a shell type seat in either CF, fiberglass, or aluminum.
Make sure to use SFI padding on the rollbar - anywhere your head could hit during an accident. I'm regularly horrified to see street cars with roll bars and no padding. Without a helmet, your head against a rollbar is like coconut against rock.
I find a convex or wink mirror is helpful while on track.
