Do you need Power steering?
Hi everyone,

I'm new in road racing escene, I just want to know how many of you have ps, I race in the street in Tijuana Mexico (legal events), and there's some U turns that I don't know if it would be easy without having PS.

any experience with PS delete? is it worth it the weight reduction?

Power steering is definitely worth having on a production car. Even on a road course where we're averaging 70 mph - 90 mph, manual steering gets tiring pretty quickly.

I have been running no power steering on my track car for years now , love it , the track I run does not have any really tight u turns , a couple 2nd gear 90's and it works well ..... I did run a sort of auto X ( training course during a track day ) and that was a pain .... would not suggest removing power steering for any sort of auto X type of driving, but open course works well ..

Ditch P/S for road course. If I remember correctly, running stock pulleys you will want to run a 24.5" 3 rib belt.

Put the belt half on, hand crank the engine and then if will slip into place.
