Gear oil for road racing
I have read that MT-90 redline oil is ok for our cars, but any special recomendation for road racing? my car is a nx2000 all motor with cams and full bolt ons, and I race in 1 hour sessions.

Thanks

Our transmissions call for GL-4 gear oil. Napa sells it.

MT-90 is fine for road racing, it's a GL-4 gear oil. I used it in NASA AZ road racing in 90-105 degree heat on Phoenix tracks and never had a hitch. Highly recommended. I had a fully bolted S4 DE, 8K rev limit. If you want more protection Redline Shockproof is another good choice, used by the turbo guys but can be used in NA applications. Doesn't flow well in cold climates at startup but once at temp more than does the job.

Redline Shockproof lightweight works well, I have that in a few track cars .. or I now run regular Redline 75w-90 because of my NISMO diff. ...
