It makes all the difference because we have the same setup on our 1995 G20 and never had any overheating issues since installing it (not even double stinting on a 95 degree day)

If you are running on a 95 degree day without it, hope you have 100% synthetic and watch it because odds are good it will boil over!

Odds don't look great now, been using stock Dextron II PS fluid for almost 2 years and the pump is showing signs of abuse. Not sure at this point synthetic can help but but after the June event the system is getting an upgrade for sure. Got extra PS fluid to take on race day, we will run all the events before noon so the last run I'll dial it down to minimize boilover. Quick question, what are you road racers using for fluid when the FSM requires Dextron II ATF? Assuming everyone is keeping what's required but with upgraded cooler.

We are running Royal Purple synthetic PS fluid in our 95 g20 and plan on doing the same for the b13. After over 25k track miles without incident, we are confident that the Royal Purple is good enough

Now that I can run with. Will be using RP when it's time to upgrade. Thanks!

Quick question, what tranny fluid are you guys running for road racing? I'm using MT-90 now but am open to something better especially with the heat here in AZ. Saturday's track temps around 10am were around 110+ degrees. Mandatory to lower tire pressures just to maintain grip, 7-10lb increase just from the brutal heat. Running heater full blast to keep engine temps down near 210 degrees even with water wetter, Nismo thermostat, Stanza w/p pulley & 2 row Modine radiator with 2 high flowing slim fans. Oil cooler did it's job keeping temps at 220-230 degrees. Last event of the season thank goodness!

MT-90 is what we intend to use and have always used on our track rat G20. You might want to look into a trans cooler setup with that Arizona heat you have to deal with and increase the volume capacity.
