Thread: Sebring LC Tky. Trot VVL Power

Ran Sebring over Thanksgiving weekend. Had a really good start. All the cars in front were on slicks except for an RX-8 which was nicely setup (Speed Source) Ran with a Suzuki Swift and a Miata for a while. I could not pass the Swift but I let the Miata by to go have some fun. I was holding him up in the turns but I was faster on the straight.

Man you weren't kidding about the swift. The car must be ridiculously light. I take it you didn't sneak the N1 cams you were hinting at the last time?

What can you do to be faster in the twisties?

Where did you place? What were the fastest lap times and with which cars/drivers?

Truly fun to watch! Thanks for posting, man that gets me excited for the convention in March!

That swift is well swift. You did not notice the change in pitch on the exhaust? I had to change the resinator because it was VVl loud. All i need is slicks and some tuning too.
Two of the faster EP cars dropped out. Phillip Pierce in an RX-7, David Hussey in an Acura. A Hayabusa powered mini stock took the pole at 1:23, which dropped out too.

John Brown overall in the del sol SPU. Yup the same jonh brown who ran the quaker state drag civic.

3 Buzz Marcus in the RX-8 SPU
4 Swift FP
5 Miata FP
6 Sentra and 3 in class SPU

There a thunder storm that rolled in in the afternoon and the conditions got very slippery and there was a crash and a fire that ignited the tires along the tire wall and the 4 groups left did not have a second race. I was in one of those groups. Next time.

The hayabusa thingy, the Acura and the RX-7 all dropped out.
Acura stripped 4th gear, mazda broke a suspension link.

That thing reminds me of a little something I am trying to have made for B13's. I hope it doesn't strip our 4th gear

He has a double disc tilton clutch, very agressive on the drivetrain. Time for a dog box. the faster you get, the weak parts start to fail.

nice run!! that little swift was a PITA! and the del sol was fast!

Running Tkytrot this weekend @ Sebring LC. Qual Sat. two races Sunday.
