My B13 NASA Road Race Car
so continuing on from the other forum covering my build (http://www.sr20forum.com/road-racing/221022-building-road-race-car.html, i realized i did not provide a list of modifications. well here's what's going in the car.

Interior:
roll cage by technosquare
sparco circuit pro x2
full sparco 5pt harness x2
sparco 330mm steering wheel with quick release hub
safecraft 10lb halon fire extinguishing system with dual pull cables
window nets
5 panel wink mirror
wiring harness simplified by me

Exterior:
custom sunroof plug by me
aluminum spoiler of tony guardados car
stickers for additional horsepower

Engine:
hotshot gen5 header
jwt s3 cams
simple ram air filter while running hpde
EGR blockoff plates by lambda research optics
prothane polyurethane motor mounts.

Suspension:
advance design struts with digressive damping curve (2 way adjustable), eibach springs, ground control coilover kit
ground control camber plates front and rear
progress front and rear sways
progress front subframe brace
energy master polyurethane bushing set

Brakes:
tilton brake proportioning valve
altima master cylinder
fastbrakes wilwood kit
hawk blue pads in front
carbotech pads in rear
brake lines all done by me

thats pretty much it for now.

been working on the rear suspension the past couple days. pressing in the energy bushings into the rear control arms and trailing arms. so far so good. when that's all put together i'm going to get the motor back in the car. then start pluggin stuff back in and hope it starts.

I envy you to no end. When's the shakedown scheduled for?

shakedown is scheduled for sometime in february/march?

finished the rear suspension today. progress bar was lots of fun putting in im sure its all off calibration but i did my best. M-Workz will get it all good to go when its all finished.

went back up to the front today. back in february NAPA sold me the wrong ball joint. it was boxed incorrectly. the guy there was nice enough to exchange it for me. got really lucky. gunna drop off a holiday box of cookies for him tomorrow in appreciation.

planning to work on the car some more tomorrow too. received the prothane mounts in the mail today so ill be workin on those as well as reinstalling the correct ball joint. i will probably install the subframe brace and front sway bar too.

hopefully i can have the brakes finished before christmas.

Did you have trouble installing the rear sway? The whole aspect of installing it with load on it kind of mixed me up... Don't you just use a jack on the spindle to compress the suspension so it is adjusted as if the wheel were on the ground?

yes you are correct about installing it with weight on the wheels but:

1. there is no motor in the car so the weight is all off
2. rear brakes have not come in yet and i did not feel like putting everything back on just so i could install the sway to spec
3. everything else is off alignment anyways from me removing the rear control arms (stupid weird looking off center bolts )to put the ES bushings in so the car will be fine tuned at M-Workz

i will most likely do a rough alignment when the car is all put together with the motor in. but for now just wanted to get it on there and make sure no parts were missing.

lol no i appreciate your input. it makes me double check in my head to make sure i've done everything correctly. or incorrectly with the intention of doing it correctly later

its cool because i'm able to go from car to car and reference. like how i put both trailing arms in backwards at first.

off topic: i love how we keep posting on each other's threads so they just stay at the top of the new posts list haha.
