Bad Boy Brace
Alot of you have seen a brace for Miatas and what not that brace the frame under the car where there is no support. This is inteded for a true hard core racer and a normal everyday driver would probably not benefit from this.

Here is what we are offering:

Fully aluminum box welded frame, Tig Welded-5356 Welding Wire (Superior Strength)

Here are some pics, let us know if you are interested, if not we will install on the NX and call it a day with another ONe off part

Price $250 shipped

Why is this mounting to the floor board and not the frame rails?

This is nothing like how the miata braces mount or any engineer would approve.

Proper butterfly brace design, this is also close to the same as OEM that was added to later models, except OEM didn't beef up the frame rails as nice.

I think you are looking at the J body pics. The NX brace looks to me like it is mounted to the frame.

Our units attach to the floor and the frame. If you look at the pics from the miata one, they attach to the floor. I am not sure if you can see the bolts, but they dont go into the frame but into the floor. You do not have to stiffen from the frame. What you are doing here is boxing it in. As long as the floor is sandwiched with a plate its doing the same as from the frame.

This pic shows that its not attached to the actual frame, and the welds are tacted on there. That bar does nothing at all.

Our units are fully welded and are $150 less than theirs.
