I have an old Hot Shot CAI set up. The set up works great, but is pretty loud for a DD.

Have you all have the opportunity to test this out on the road? I am curious if your new piece had any effect on sound/noise. I would be interested if I could keep the noise down.

This reminds me of the old SCC setup with a heatshield that had a rubber lip that sealed it against the hood. This looks like a great setup!

Ps do you guys think you will make one of these for a larger size intake pipe? I want to run either a 3.5 or 4inch CAI for my 2.4 liter VE. Well so that would require a custom CAI from you guys too.

dyno numbers with hood closed with box on and off should prove a good selling point also
