As to the concern over using the rod ends in bending, although not "ideal" it is a solution that is very common on many race cars. The customer does have to keep an eye on them as with race cars these heims are usually replaced annually as part of off-season maintenance.
The "bending" moment on these is not as severe as some that are used as lower ball joints (for instance on formula and small GT cars) because the spring and damper load is fed to the top of the hub/steering knuckle vs. being fed to the lower A-Arm. (As in an unequal upper and lower control arm coil-over scenario) The lower ball joint on the B13 and B14 is basically just a locating link and should not be of major concern.
