I think the reason we are seeing more 93's is like I said they were the ones that were more taken care of then the 91-92's. All I look for is 93's really. Its rare to find a clean 91-92 anywhere really. I mean my Electric Blue one was a one owner with 200+k miles on it in mint shape. Also seeing prob about 20 max 1993 NX2000's over my WHOLE lifetime is not really saying much. I mean sure you see 93's here and there. But how many have you actually seen in your whole lifetime? I bet its under 20....

Those numbers were published in 1996 also. So its not like the info was super old and not out there when it was published. Weve prob got what maybe 40-50 US bought NX2000's here MAYBE on this forum. Thats not alot lol and the people who own them were prob looking for them.

I believe the numbers. Look at how many Sentras were produced and the demand for them. Hell look at how many SE-R owners we have here. Now compare that to how many 1993 US bought NX2000 owners we have here. We can poll it out if we need to! But i dont find it that hard to believe. I see more 92's then anything and the numbers show that

Hey, 94 was a great year for the NX1600 in europe! GA16DS turned into GA16DE, and to quote wikipedia " From April 1993 to 1996, the 100NX was sold with a more efficient fuel injected setup."

You can find -95 and -96 NX1600's, (built in late 94?, but sold later on)

My apologies, Dala. I keep forgetting the 1600 was sold there, even though I saw that yellow one you picked up lol.

Good call with the email, Johnny. Now I feel bad for saying the price haha...

You know, seeing the numbers makes me wonder how many are left...

Just in Oregon I know I have seen a handful of white 93's, a couple red ones, 1-2 e-blue, and a few sapphire blue ones. But yes less than 20 locally and cars do survive here well. Most stock NX's I see are in pretty decent shape regardless of year. Usually the rougher ones have ricer mods. I see nice 92's on the west coast a lot. I've owned 3 92's and 1 93.

Tauriq you have had 3 93's right? That would mean you have owned more than 1% of 93 NX's lol. I mean if you look on the old forum in the NX registry there are like 75 93's listed.

I could see the numbers being accurate I guess but I would be less surprised if they were off.

Really? Damn man, next time you see one for sale, please let me know. I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A 1993 NX2000 WITH T-TOPS FOR 2 YEARS and no luck. It's the only SR20 powered I haven't owned under Nissan (no G20 either and I sometimes look for those as well)

I've noticed this too when I see an NX randomly on the road.. I don't want to offend anyone but all the NX's at the 2012 convention I saw were in varying levels of shit condition at the picnic car show. I don't recall 1 really nice one. Oh wait I think there was 1.. but the other 6 or something were beat to hell. In comparison I saw some of the most beautiful Sentra SE-R's I have ever seen, and remember I've been owning and messing with these cars for 14 years, SE-Rican's red B13 VE-T had me foaming at the mouth (at least I think it was his)

B13 Sentra production numbers (for some reason they didn't include 1991 for whatever reason, but it did say that 7 percent were SE-R's)

1992 Model Year
Total sold in U.S.: 163,000.
Percentage with SR20 motor: 8% (quick math, that's around 13,000 SE-R's? It also is what I have now. The sticker on my door jamb says production date was 2/92)

1993 Model Year
Total sold in U.S.: 162,000
Percentage with SR20 motor: 5% (I think that's roughly 8,000 SE-R's which IMO the 1993 is the best of all of them because of the redesign & still highport)

1994 Model Year
Total sold in U.S.: 223,229
Percentage with SR20 motor: 1% (That's only like 2,200 SE-R's but highest overall production numbers. I guess Nissan got rid of as many as they could and dropped the prices anticipating the new B14 design)

And even more interesting to me is that it says that for the 1994 Sentra: production run - Oct. 1993 through Jan. 1995

So technically, somewhere out there are a few 1995 B13s, but 99 percent chance it's the GA16DE.

Why did I get quoted lol. I didnt say that. And damn, if i understand this right your saying every NX was shit at the convention. What do you mean by that? They were stripped out Race cars?

But this is one of the reason I dont want to strip this NX out or take the A/C out.

Sorry I don't know why it quoted you. I just meant a lot of them were beat up. Dented, rusting, etc.
