Everything looks so clean and fresh.
But I am wondering why you would spend all that time and effort to clean everything and powdercoat parts only to skimp on the brake lines? Wish you best of luck on those lines and hopefully it won't rupture all over the fresh parts.

Apex are not good brake lines?

Apex aka ebay lines = questionable quality with known failures. Goodridge or oem.

Got an alignment today! All in spec!

Waiting on my Sentra to arrive so I can swap wheels onto the NX (for the wider tires) and go get my Recon (reconstruction) permit. All that just so I can pass my annual safety inspection.

So, I am stuck at work again on the weekend. So, I decided to take my "new" rebuilt rear calipers and powder Choi and them. Rear calipers suck tearing down. Not going to be fun putting back together.

End result before putting the left one back together.

This is the new rebuilt before I tear it down and strip the cheap plating off.

Torn down and striped. Then masked off the areas I don't want powder.

Preheating the bracket before powder coating.

Looks like only one will get done today. Reassembly is not going as well I hoped.

I WIN!
Putting these back together is not something I want to do again, so i will start the other one some time this week.

So, I decided to start the right side. It broke. Filed a warranty claim with rock auto.

Maybe just not my day.

Installed goodridge g-stop brake lines thanks to stillen performance, as well as the fortune auto coils and carbon fiber hatchback. Had to do the window myself.
