Yes, I think it works with the straight normal radio brackets. It's been a long time ago, but I have mounted one up thar.

Cleaned up my vacuum lines and got rid of AIV/EGR/BPT .

Installed new clutch cable. Much more of a b*tch to do than I remember.

Got my new tires on Nitto NeoGen...we'll see. Had to compromise between 1 or 2 autcrosses-capable and DD for a couple of years.

Also got the new wheels on (thanks @jingjing !)

Also replace the (broken!) shifter stabilizer rod rubber with the Energy Suspensions poly piece.

It's been a whirlwind, I think that's all for now. Still got to do the radio and a few things here and there.

And the 'brothers' together:

looks good! looks like the plasti-dip came off easy.

Well, not easy. hehe. There's still a little purple staining of the surface, I may go ahead an repaint these silver in the future.

Good lesson I learned is that I will never Plasti-dip something with the idea that it peels right off! What you see there is about an hour per wheel in WD40, adhesive remover, and elbow grease!

Was easier than removing pain, though, thats for sure.

Thanks for the deal!!

Test fit my lil' subwoofer amplifier for my lil' bitty subwoofer.

It's an old Radio Shack 6.5 subwoofer with 4ohm dual voice coils and a staggering 20W per channel!!! The interesting thing is, for a ported tune of 33Hz, the box requires 1.67cu.ft.!!

I'm using one of the nicer Chinese TA2020 amplifiers, the Indeed. Looks nicer, anyway. We'll see how it goes. The HU I have has a dedicated low-pass sub out.

I'm going for low power/high efficiency. I just need a tad bit of low end for the really tinny sound of the stock NX speaker locations.

Here's the resulting sub box:

For the amp, I'm mounting it where the ashtray goes. I cut a section out of a thick clipboard, so it can slide in and out, but stays in firm with friction:

Going to have to test it out when the new HU comes in. It's a classic (to me) Kenwood EZ500 with big ass rotary knobs!

Installed a Hallman mechanical boost controller, plan on turning the t25 all the way up.

Re drilled the 10mm mounting hole to the stock 12mm catch can bolt.

Also installing a Clifford 3305x 2-way alarm system. After days of multimeters, FSM downloads, test lights, and trial and error I got the grasp of the installation (i am not in any way shape or form an electrician, approx 2 full days in pure research). With the doors being triggered on the negative pulse wire is what really had/has me mind boggled. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing I couldn't find anyone in Phoenix to come to me to install my alarm. I do plan on making a YouTube video for the alarm system itself due to there not being any information on it but the instructions it came with.which are very bland. Hopefully help out plenty of others with the video as well..

I plan on putting some kind of felt on the inside.

Hey Louis,

What year Max did this come out of? I'm tired of all my stuff sliding out of the stock cubby when I accelerate. LMK!

Guess I'm not the only one that experiences this phenomenon. Hehehe.

I have an EDM console in my SE-R and it really helps with that one being turbo. Still, the NX accelerates hard enough that my remote for my deck, my clicker for my garage door, and my cell phone all slide out on hard accelerations (or even light accelerations going uphill). This would be a really cool solution though! I'd rather have a drawer vs. a spring loaded cubby door.
