Removing hatch glass
Has anyone removed a NX rear hatch glass? Was is difficult?

I need to replace mine because my defroster lines we sliced and it has old tint with glue all over.

Pick n Pull has a clean rear window in a NX I want to snag tomorrow and just want to prep myself for ease or pain.

I would call a local glass company and hire a guy to pull the new one out and pop it right in your NX in the parking lot. I would be so scared of breaking anything.

The only way to get out rear shields and front shields is to be super freaking careful. You really can't get anxious or rush things. The wire cable push pull trick worked for me in the past.

It is to me because it had to tint peice at random places old glue and broken connectors on the glass. It bugs the sh*t out of me.

I own a glass shop in virginia and would only charge about $50 to swap out and it would only take 15min. its super easy but the catch is you have to have the right tools. in the course of performing that procedure i would have used about $1000 worth of tools. I have never broken a piece of glass in 10 years of doing 1000s a year because of the right tools.
