Why I love the NX... man I really don't know, I've owned four of them! I def like the lights at night, love the way it sounds when I'm boosting. Love seeing the love on Porsche owners' faces when I fly past them. T-tops in the summer are sweet. Handles ok for being boosted. I like that its rare to see one.

I have also owned four. It depends on the age I am when you ask
16-18 - Ttops!
19-25 - Speed!
26+ so far? - VE and ttops!

That should do it, no more mods after that.

samething with me i be trucking through the snow and people with newer cars get stuck i stay laughing at them. LSD FTW

I only got to drive it for about 30 miles with the turbo before the problems from my ghetto electric water pump caused me to park it. And so it has sat for 5 years now. If anyone wants to help get it swapped I'll buy beer. hehe and lay off the pic with the shorts that was sooo 1999.

Many of the previous posts have already echoed features which make the NX2000 unique, fun to drive and especially roadworthy.

Here's what I like:

As cars go, the T tops put the NX in another league.

You can be in the fastest set of wheels on earth, but if your top doesn't come off on a nice day, well you're in a box and just missing it.

What's nice about the NX is that with the T''s out wind noise is low and you don't get beat up by the breeze.

The NX2000 also has a genuine racing pedigree. That terrific engine, smooth shifting transmission and independent rear suspension combined to make it the one to beat in the SCCA Showroom Stock Class back in the day.

I like that it's still fun for track days in the warm weather and can still hold it's own in the winter, as well. And there are plently of options for adding power. I like that I can carry a full set of track tires with me and still have room for my other track gear. Try that with a Miata or anything else that also has a top that opens.

No question these are fun, reliable cars providing decent fuel economy and a profile you don't see coming around the corner. Almost a rare car today and for the most part overlooked and still discounted by many.

Perhaps that's just as well.

We all here because we knew a good thing when we saw it, right?

Why I loved mine:
It was my first car
Revy 1600 was sooo much fun
All the extra's like digital dash etc
Cause of all the hate it attracted

To this day I regret selling this car, one day I'll locate it again, buy it and treat it good!

I love it because it handles amazing with the tein ss coilovers on b14 spring rates.
Slower than my b14 but seems very "happy" in the corners.
No rear beam.... So I can crank the rear dampening up and make it tail happy.
I underestimated the NX.. You won't love one until you have one with decent suspension and take it on a curvy road at WOT.

it looks good..... Even under a car cover. =)
