My hardware arrived so I bolted in the sub frame and started completely welding the brackets in place. Added two more bars to stiffen up the brace some more after I bolted it down.

I also ran out of tubing so I will need to pick up some tomorrow before I can branch it to the front sub frame bolts.

I won't be reinstalling any of the rear interior so I cleaned up my rear speaker brackets and will be painting them gloss black.

not to be a ass or anything, are the NX axles the same as the G20? those GTI-R axles look exactly like the ones i just threw in my g. im looking to do this to my G20 btw so all the hints ya can give me will help! (where did ya get the engine and parts? ect? hard issues?) this looks like allot of work.

Remember that in order for the axles to work with the gti-r awd tranny they will have to have the correct spline so you don't damage something. After I complete the project I will be posting a parts list as well as prices paid and estimated amount of time it took. As for hard issues reread the thread and if you can't do any specific part of what I had to then thats your hard issues. Also take into fact that a g20 may be harder to do then my nx was.

Rear speaker brackets in primer and ready to be painted black.

Front sub frame mount bracket welded to frame rail. I will box it in after I finish welding my tube in place.

Just like the rear here is the metal tube which will go through the front mounts.

Sits in there perfect

I did tacks completely around the tube so I wouldn't burn thru the floor. After I smoothed out the tacks I went back over with a nice bead and smoothed it out.

Here is the plate that will be connect to the rstb and bolted down in place. I have to make my angle pieces yet so the bolt will sit straight when tightened.

Speaker brackets are now painted gloss black and clear coated. I'm going to wait to reinstall them since I don't want to scratch the paint.

I ended up making this piece which gets welded to the floor and allows the bolt to sit flat.

Just like before I had to tack completely around it to prevent from burning through the floor. After tacking grind down and you now have a good base to leave a decent bead.

I made different brackets which get bolted down since it didn't need to be curved anymore. Here the brace is tied into the front sub frame bolts with one support bar so far.

I have to small support bars left to make and weld on each side in the spot shown below. The bar shown below isn't cut correctly but it will give you a idea of what I'm talking about.

After I make those two last pieces I can pull the entire thing out and finish welding it up and then prep and paint.
