Any interest yet? I think you would have good luck going to car shows and introducing yourself.

It has been a while since I have had to win over customers to return to my shop but you need to pound the pavement and let people know who you are and what your doing.

I'm planning on starting with my friends cars..I actually started a page on Facebook as well..and also right now having a friend make me up some logos..then when I decide which one they will print them onto business cards for me to hand to people..might also start going door to door to the neighbors that I know..and maybe my church as well..

I was thinking about doing something similar about 5 years ago... I was going to gear my sales approach towards commercial locations so I can perform the detailing process at one location while people are at work and they dont have to leave there desks. Also you can spend a whole day or a whole week at the same location taking care of customers instead of traveling all over the place with the rise in gas prices.

I think for what you're looking to do dealing specifically with friends and family on a personal level is the way to go. If you don't have insurance or a division of your personal and business assets all liability falls right on your shoulders.
