safest rev limit setting
I've heard so many stories of people breaking rockers in SR20dets when hitting the rev limiter.

I just recently upgraded turbos and have nismotronic installed...The limiter is set at 7000 2 cycle with ignition cut on. With the new turbo it gets to the rev limit so quickly that I have already heard it happen a couple times since i got the car tuned yesterday. The cut and popping is so violent..im wondering if its the best option for my engine. I know that ignition cut can throw rockers...would turning off ignition be safer for my sr?
although the pops sound incredible..i want to enjoy this thing for a little while

thanks for your help!

From my experience I try to only enable ignition cut on VE engines for the rev limit.

It definitely can cause some issues with chucking rockers at higher RPM since the cut is so abrupt.
