Thread: ECU compatibility

Hi, I'm currently in the middle of a SR20VE swap into my NX2000, and I'm planning on purchasing Nismotronic. However, I discovered that my ECU doesn't seem to be supported?

Is this ECU supported? Or has someone swapped it? If I try to google the numbers, some match B14 ECU's..
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I didn't find any good info on google.

my guess is yes. same board goes in gti almera. type 3. if not i know an alternate.

The only reason that ECU part number isn't listed as supported is because I don't actually have one to test, however I see no reason why it would not work fine with NismotronicSA.

I should also say that there may or may not be certain inputs and/or outputs available with the 71Y05, as that is an EDM ECU. For example, EGR may not be available for programmable outputs.

Thanks for explaining it to me, you're probably right about the EGR since the EDM models didn't come with it. I'll purchase the Nismotronic once I get my taxmoney back
