double checked both logs, maf voltage looks fine... there are some settings in the TPS table in the settings tab i want to play with, but first i'll need to verify some readings from my tps.

John is seeing this issue on his B14 also so we'll get to the bottom of it soon.

Thanks,

Have you monitored your voltage? I think i had a dying alternator, it was def not holding voltage properly. Put a 90amp VE one on, and so far my erratic idle issue has only cropped up once, the car is a bit smoother at light loads/low speed.

If you want this to go away completely, for the time being just enable the MIL warning output in the outputs tab.

Just set it up as a shiftlight.

Enable output.

Check RPM and set it up so it comes on 400 RPM under your rev limit and goes off 600 RPM under your rev limit.

So if your limiter is 7500, set the ON to 7100 and the off to 6900.

This will at least get the flashing CEL to go away .. it isn't anything serious or the car wouldn't be running very well. Until we can get this sorted on our end, this is a work around to get that light to go away.

New version is up with DTC enable masking.. which means you can disable the code from turning on the MIL.

Setup -> Extras ->DTC Mask

un-check any sensors or codes that you would like to disable or do not have on your vehicle.

For example, I don't have a knock sensor wired into my harness so I would un-check the knock sensor MIL and would disable it in the Ignition -> Knock parameters section as well.

Sorry to bring this back up, but did you ever find the cause and solution for this CEL flickering??

Have been using Nismotronic for a few months on my VE and recently started experiencing a Flickering CEL. Seems to only happen straight after a warm start up for a few moments, will dissapear if I blip the throttle.

Also I had to disconnect the OBD plug wires at the ECU for logging purposes. So im not sure if I have any fault codes stored.

The code will be stored if it triggered the light.

I had the same issue over a year ago, turned out to be a MAP code altough I didn't have a MAP sensor at the time.

Find the code, and disable the corresponding sensor that you don't have
