NismoTronicSA update is available.

MIN MAF VOLTAGE (SETUP -> MAF LOAD -> PARAMETERS)

MAX MAF VOLTAGE (SETUP -> MAF LOAD -> PARAMETERS)

This will fix the issue with the blinking MIL light when at idle. This was happening because the maf voltage was falling BELOW the set minimum maf voltage. When changing your MAF sensor make sure to lower your MIN MAF voltage so it is LOWER than what you are getting during idle and decel conditions.

For reference OEM voltages, please do keep in mind these voltages are for their specific engines, which can have more/less vacuum then an SR20 at idle.

My personal experience with E60 mafs, every single used one I've gotten has never had voltages higher then 1.15v at idle, which is still within it's operating range though.

This morning I looked up the 1997 Maxima FSM and saw something very interesting.

So what this means is, every MAF is not going to have the same voltages at idle. Below is a list of MAF's and FSM's that I looked through and found information about.

MAF: DE
Car: 1991-1999 Sentra
Idle Voltage: 1.3-1.7v

MAF: E60
Car: 1995-1999 Maxima
Idle Voltage: 1.0-1.7

MAF: N60
Car: 1991-1994 Maxima
Idle Voltage:1.0-1.7 (assuming it's similar to N62)

MAF: N62
Car: 1990-1996 300zx
Idle Voltage: 1.0-1.7

MAF: RR
Car: 2000-2001 Sentra SE, 2000-2002 G20
Idle Voltage: 1.3-1.7v

Man I didn't want to bother you with that question, considering I asked you a lot of questions already over the weekend. I was trying to figure this out. Thanks for clearing that up.
It took some playing with but I think I'm getting the hang of the SA software.
Does this software do something to the RT software once you install it? I tried to open RT and it popped up in the taskbar but didn't open full screen.

No, it doesn't do anything to the RT software as it is a completely separate software.

If you have an issue with the software booting up, try deleting your prefs file and launch the RT version again.

Sweet, i was having this issue. The more i use the SA version the better it gets. There is a lot more to adjust for what i would call the setup side but it lets you get the tune right where you want it.

It still will not let me connect to the wideband directly, haven't checked with the update though.

Thanks for a great product.

I am glad you are enjoying the SA version.

I still have not had the chance to look into the direct wideband issue, but I will keep you updated when it is fixed!

Was there another update? My software locked upped and i had to terminate it. After i restarted, all of my settings reset and it wanted to update. My CEL came back on flashing, MAF voltages are fine. What else could it be? It does it from idle to redline.

There have been a few updates since the initial release, but none of them would cause the ECU or software to lock up because of it.

If you are having any issues with the CEL flashing, you can simply enable the MIL output indicator in the outputs section to change this.

Also, please note that you should make the initial uploads when updating version with the KEY OFF and engine NOT running!

Hey John, would it be easier to have the software either self register or not require a registration code to put on a new laptop? Might save you a bit of time getting people up and running all the time.
