ECU going into limp mode.....
I am bringing this post over from the old forum for a friend (I believe the base map on the RT is stock SR20VE):

Using a NismoTronic RT ECU with the NEMU tuning package.

Ran car at Road America this past weekend. After about 20 to 40 minutes of racing the ECU goes into "limp" mode. Engine will not rev over 4000 rpm.

Problem can be fixed by reflashing the ECU BUT the limp mode returns after about 30 minutes on the track.

One thing I noted is that the MAF #s go red on the gauge layout at around 8000, with MAF values up to 40,000. I don't know the normal range for our engine and ECU. Possibly the VE engine has a totally different MAF setup and the expected values are wildly different than the DE. I'm sure there is some way to fix this. If there is a conflict between our tune or something and the MAF #.

Does anyone know if this is triggering a limp mode in the ECU?

I actually got in contact with him via email and are working on a solution!
