Thread: Just a clarification

I am doing my VE swap here in a few weeks and don't really want to run with stock DE ECU for all that long. If I get the NEMU RT package this is all I will need to set up my car while running I/H/3"E and future mods like cams and what not? I have ZERO experience messing with anything like this but looks pretty simple to pick up on with the help here. I just want to make sure this is the right choice for the future because I'm not getting rid of my NX anytime soon. I was planning on just gettin a JWt ECU but if I can change settings on the engine on the fly I'd say this the best way to go.

Yes, you would just need the NEMU RT package installed into your stock DE ECU.

This will allow you to reprogram the ECU in the future for any mods and it also allows you to control the VVL solenoids directly through the ECU.
