MAP and IAT Sensor Vehicles
What vehicles could I pull a MAP and IAT sensor out of? I was going to head down to the pick-n-pull today, but I thought I'd see if there is one vehicle in particular I should be looking for.

Thanks.

Thanks for the list, @BenFenner. I knew about the Turbo Trans-Am, but good luck finding one in a junk yard. The Cyclone or Typhoon, maybe.

@lynchfourtwenty, I noticed the same thing about the 90's engines that I was looking at yesterday. They were all just pushed right into the plastic/rubber intake tubes. Didn't look useful at all for our purposes.

I'm going to check the local u-pull's inventory for the other vehicles Ben mentioned. If I can't find one, I guess I'll just have to order one online. I've read the omni-power 3 bar one is the best you can get, might be worth the $50 or so.

The cars I listed were sort of a joke... =/

DIYAutoTune.com is where I'd buy a MAP sensor and IAT sensor new. They have detailed pics and info and options for getting exactly what you want. They also sell a $28 2.5-bar MAP sensor...

Ha... I know the turbo trans-am has one... It was made in '89, or so I read. That's the only one I knew of... lol

I saw the ones on DIYAutoTune.com, but I think I found them cheaper somewhere else. Import Auto Parts or something like that.

Is the shipping pretty quick from DIY?

I found too many 1 bars to count... no such luck on a 3 bar though. I'll buy it new.

BTW. I'm using the step down cable in my B14. Do you know which pin is for the EGR temperature gauge/input??? I'm just going to splice into the jumper harness and ground the other end to the manifold. Same with the ground on my map sensor.
