Fan enable?
My fans will not enable no matter what temp i set it for. its cool out right now and the car is not getting over 165*F, but even if i lower it to 140*F the check in the Data screen does not enable, nor does the fan come on. I have not messed with the speed setting by my speedo is working.

Is there something that needs to be enabled? or what am i missing?

Thank you

is your ECT sensor good?

Acts like it, temps start low, about ambient, then when warm end up around 160ish. If the ECU sees temps higher than the set fan on temp setting it should turn on, regardless if the sensor is bad.

have you checked the relay and the fans?

The issue is the ECU is never enabling the fans, or is the check box not functional?

It is certainly functional. I used it yesterday on a car on the dyno.

What I generally do is set the turn on temp both at the same value ~194 and then set both of the speed settings to ~50mph.

Give that a try!

I checked the Relay at is has everything it needs but the ground signal from the ECU. When i ground that side of the coil the relay closes so i know it is working.

I set the temps to 0 last night and still nothing. I will try what you said on my way home.

This ECU was in my B14 and the fans were functioning. I just switched the basic board out for the NEMU. I do have another ECU that i might try if nothing else works.

If you have an issue with the ECU's output, you can change the rad fan output over to one of the user outputs and turn it on via ECT and speed if you wish.

I tried it again on the way home. speeds set to 50, and all temps set to 130 and it never kicked on, car was running in the 160s.

I am going to try the other ECU i have as well.
