Alright my friend is the one selling me the RR. He had the RR in his g20 and swapped a VE into it so ill just look further into it. But what ecu would I use for the VE? And would it be the same wiring harness at the DE

If you install a VE, you either need to swap some components over from the DE to the VE or get another ECU (hopefully a tune-able one which adds to cost)
So what exact components would i have to swap from the DE to the VE?
Check the manifesto, lots of good info. You'll need a MSD window box (what I prefer) to initiate VVL, thewiring harnesses, some other random tidbits, and it WILL run on the DE ECU but not that well, you want to get the ECU tuned by someone or go standalone or something. lots of options

A basic way to swap a VE and have it running at least. (Will run a little rich do to having the VE injectors or just swap for the DE injectors till you can either get a way to tune the VE with either any piggyback, Nistune, Nismotronic or full standalone.
1.Keep your stock ECU or get a G20 ECU(No speed limiter and raised rpm limit to 7500).
2.Keep your stock harness.
3.Keep the stock MAF.
4.Buy a MSD window switch(to wire your VVL)
5.Need also to adapt the heater hoses from the back of the VE so it can work.
